In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the process of creating custom forms and proposals in Dubsado to give your clients the best experience (and to get rid of your admin headache 🤯).

For example, if you are a Virtual Assistant, you might want to create a form that collects information about what programs your client uses, what support they are looking for, and their branding.

Lead Capture Form
A lead capture form in Dubsado is a form that is designed to capture information from potential clients who are interested in your services. This form can be embedded on your website or shared as a link or attached to a scheduler. It typically collects information such as the client's name, email address, and the type of services they are interested in. This information can then be used to follow up with the client and potentially convert them into a paying customer.
You can trigger workflows from the Lead Capture forms. Don't forget to map the clients details to the address book so you don't have to go searching through forms in the future!
Proposal
A proposal is a document that outlines the details of a project or service that you are offering to a client. It typically includes information such as the scope of the project, the timeline for completion, and the cost. Dubsado allows you to create professional-looking proposals that are tailored to your specific business needs.
Creating a proposal in Dubsado is also a simple process. To get started, navigate to the "Proposals" tab in your account and click on "New Proposal."
You can use a template (check out our one click templates) or make your own from scratch by adding sections, images, and text.
You can add your packages as well as any add-ons for the clients to choose. Things to include in your Proposal: Personal message to your clients, What you can do for them, Packages, Add-ons, Next Steps, Reviews.
Proposals can be sent to a client through their project after a discovery call. Proposal can also be made public, this way a client can go and purchase your services through your website, this works for any standard packages like VIP Days, Ebooks or Brand Creation. Questionnaire
A Dubsado questionnaire is a form that collects information from clients. The form can be customised using Dubsado's drag-and-drop form builder and can include fields such as text fields, checkboxes, and dropdowns. Once the form is completed by the client, the information can be used to inform business decisions or to tailor proposals and services to the client's needs. You can use the questionnaire for sending Service guides, Onboarding Questionnaire, Pre Strategy Call Questionnaire and many more uses.
There’s many uses for questionnaire, like a proposal you can use templates (link to shop) or create your own from scratch BUT unlike Proposal you can also upload a PDF. Uploading a PDF is great for if you want to send out a Service Guide or Privacy Policy. When uploading a PDF it won’t be like the questionnaires that you build within Dubsado as the client will be unable to enter any data.
Questionnaires are great for collecting the relevant information you need to complete a project, for example you can use the file upload feature to collect any files you need to complete the projects.
Contract
Contract is a legal document that outlines the details of a project or service that you are offering to a client. It typically includes information such as the scope of the project, the timeline for completion, and the cost. Clients can then review and sign the contract directly within the Dubsado platform. You can only have one contract attached per project, if you make amendments to your contract you will need to use a Sub-Agreement.
Sub - Agreement
A sub-agreement can take an electronic signature just like a contract, but you can have as many as you'd like on a project. For example, as a Social Media Manager you could use sub-agreements to approve design proofs each month.
