Do you use discovery calls?
I've seen a few posts on Instagram recently talking about how Discovery Calls are pointless and a waste of time. How you can gather everything you need to know about working with a lead by talking with them through DM.
This does not work for me. 🙅🏼♀️ (maybe it's a millennial thing 😜)
Personally I prefer having a Discovery Call with leads, you can get a proper feel for someone and the lead can voice what work they require help with a lot better than in a DM. It also helps me decide if I'm the right person to help them support them within their business.
BUT I also think that Discovery Calls shouldn't be taking up loads of your time.
⏰ Stick to short calls... 15 mins.
Remember you are giving the time away for free, make the most of talking to your lead but also don't chit chat for ages. (Something I have needed to work on 🤣)
➡ Automate the process of how leads book their calls. You don't want to be spending loads of time going back and fourth with clients on when to book a call.
